Delighted

I am delighted to report this painting got 1st place in the Watercolor Society juried show this month.  What a surprise.  Now if i can figure out how to get from Conroe (am doing a workshop) to downtown Houston in an hour on Friday...that will be a trick.

You all have given me confidence to move forward. I want to do some experiemental pieces. I teach in Conroe, Texas next week, so I better get some examples done. Thank you again for your loyalty.

thanks to you all, I met the judge at the reception. He was Steve Parker, a wonderful landscape artist, surprised he picked a figure. But then, we all admire what we don't do.
