Fish again

Obviously I am thinking "fish" again, will get back to the figure by class on Wednesday.  This is not finished but not too far from it.  Have trouble with my new camera.  dropped my old one too many times, but sure don't like the new one.  Will probably invest in a new one soon.  If anyone has an idea of a good camera that takes clear pics let me kinow.

What happened to all the beautiful colours on your fish, Liz? Is the camera not picking it up? They look different from the photo of the original two pics down.
Getting used to a new camera is a pain. I've just bought a new one, but don't have the energy/inclination to read the booklet yet :(
It's a bit flasher than my old 'point and click' so I will have learn new stuff - and I have to be in the mood for that!

I love your fish paintings! By the way I don't know if this helps but I learned in class that - if you get a regular camera with the strap on it - you always wrap the strap around your wrist before you take the picture. Anyway I would also like to know about a good camera! Again - wonderful painting!

Thanks for the tips Myra, think I need a good none shake camera(this one is supposed to be one, but obviously isn't. Sue, these are black and white copies of the "fish", on purpose. The colorful one is at a gallery now. Am trying out new techniques, will see what happens. Thanks for the observations.

hi Liz, the small Panasonic Lumix is an awesome little camera. i heard about it from Joseph Fettingis.in his workshop. I ended up buying one, and it stays in my purse. i take all my paintings with it. has a great zoom! i got mine off of Amazon.
you would love it. my blog is www.suzypal.blogspot.com if you want to check out the quality of the photos. i think they are really good. Oh..they are also so large, that I have to make them smaller for blogs, etc.
