Prepared surface

thought you might enjoy seeing the result of taking a prepared surface to the watercolor society and then drawing and painting directly on it.  It doesn't always work out so well, but this one did.

Gesso or Absorbant ground? Whatever, both are terrific ... as usual!

It is painted directly on the watercolor paper, am just now getting into this and have more ideas than time. Glad you like it Dee.
