wed nesday model session

The model got sick on Wednesday and we had to just paint each other.  This is Carol, who has beautiful full hair.  I used the powdered charcoal to show my students how to utilize it.  It was the last day of class, and will miss all of them.  They did some beautiful work.

Beautifully rendered. I like the loose handling of the paint in contrast with the control necessary to construct the head. Nice!!!

Wonderful! Your work is so expressive. It's loose, but tight, spontaneous but also controlled. Ahhh
you inspire me!
