Houston Art Society Demonstration

Did this at Houston Art Society monthly meeting today.  Another Ghost Ranch painting, not finished, but got so wet couldn't do anything more until it dried.  Lovely group of people.  Am giving a landscape collage workshop this week, friday, saturday sunday at the Houston Watercolor Society.  I think there are still openings if anyone is interested.

Patricia/ Watercolor Society/

Cute Patricia , a fun model to do with my favorite socks- I have  been doing pictures of her for years.  Never get tired of it as she gives so much of herself to the session.

Another New Mexico painting

I already gave this to a friend who watches my cats when I am out of town.  She has a new house, so it made the perfect housewarming present.  Anyone who takes care of my babies deserves my art.

Ghost Ranch Landscape, October 2015

This is the first landscape I did in Ghost Ranch.  The landscape is outstanding no matter where you look.  The light keeps changing and you are looking at another painting every hour or so. Facinating place to landscape paint, I can see why Georgia O'Keefe fell in love with the area.  We had a tour around the ranch and a tour or the O'Keefe home.  Everything was very inspring and I have enough landscape photos to last me the rest of my life.
