Just had to do this one

This is one of those paintings that would not leave me alone until I did it.  It needs some tweaking but almost finished.  

 And am almost finished, what a long road.  These are 20" x 30"
 on canvas.  They will hang as a group at The Holland Street Gallery the end of September.  Can't decide what combination looks best.

I look forward to doing this cute little elf when done with them.
I get really bored with a project if it takes too long.  Sign of a lazy artist.

You would never believe these quick sketches that I did last week.  That is why I put a picture of the model under them!  What fun we had with this model.  Hopefully she comes back soon.    If I ever get my final fan dancer done, I have big plans for some others.

Am still working on fan dancers, need to do the third one and put together with others and then make adjustments.  they are on canvas 20" x 30".  They need to be done this month.

Drew at the watercolor society yesterday, We had Dave Malin as the model.  He is very inventive and fun to draw.  Hopefully I can do something interesting with the larger one.
