Prepared surface

thought you might enjoy seeing the result of taking a prepared surface to the watercolor society and then drawing and painting directly on it.  It doesn't always work out so well, but this one did.

put them together

Decided to put these 2 pigeons together and make them a set.  Will show them that way, as I think they are more interesting together.  Talk about just working it out as I go.  I like them both much more this way.

Lots of starts

Have been going to model sessions, but have 3 paintings I am working on right now.  Hopefully I can do a finish of at least one of these.

after a couple days in the hospital

The finished image.  May rework it some more, don't think so. 

Am home from another hospital stay, will get my strength back quickly and start working toward Saturday's show.  Am hoping I am not going to be disappointed in it.  Whoops, this is not finished image.  Let me try again.
