nude

My latest nude, done at ARLC. An adorable model.

Feb. 3

I spent last week in the beautiful city of Austin. The landscapes are so wonderful, as I am used to the flat land of Houston. I enjoyed touring some galleries and will go back again soon. In the meantime, I worked on this figure to enter in the Watercolor Society as the theme for this month is "people". I love this model and am working on a larger piece on canvas. This piece will sell for $399, as it is on paper and approx. 22 x 28.

Enjoying my own show

I had an excellent time at my own opening, much fun.
SOLD, This is the featured piece that I had on the postcard invite for the Jung show. I even had the model for this piece at the show.

International show

I have really been bad about posting lately. I had the opening at The Jung Center on Saturday nite and it was much fun. The work will be up until the end of January and it's very exciting to have a one person show on view for a month. I am now entering the International show at the watercolor society downtown, if I can get in the show I will achieve "signature status", so am hoping for success. The other fairy painting is for another show that is to reflect the opera "Midsummer Nights Dream". Hopefully I can at least get into it.

December 27

Have been working on many different things, as my show at the Jung Center is January 5 to 31. These are just some examples of some of them. I have over 40 paintigns to hang. Will get back to my regular postings after the opening the 10th. It's been alot of work and very productive, should give me a large inventory of paintings, which I have never had before. Am looking forward to the opening.
