My latest project
Lately I have gotten myself into some really not fun things.
I am a member of the &eight artists, which consists of 8 artists that show at Hubbel and Hundson, a high end grocery and food store. Our project consists of all 8 of us doing 2 parts of a huge painting, these are 18 x 18". Am so glad to have these done. This piece will then be auctioned off and donated to a good cause. I don't do well when I have assignments. I prefer to stay on taask with my own work.. Sooooooooooooo, they're done. Need to check the skin tones on the small one, don't think they're that pink. Am going this afternoon to purchase another camera. I have fought this old one long enough.

Class on Thursday
This is the image I did as an example for my class starting on Thursday. I am teaching 4 classes in Conroe in Painting and drawing the figure. They will work from this photo, what a fun model. This piece is on mixed media paper, what a disappointment. I do not like the way this paper takes the paint, and watercolor is out of the question. Oh well, back to hot press.

Fish again
Obviously I am thinking "fish" again, will get back to the figure by class on Wednesday. This is not finished but not too far from it. Have trouble with my new camera. dropped my old one too many times, but sure don't like the new one. Will probably invest in a new one soon. If anyone has an idea of a good camera that takes clear pics let me kinow.
