some Quick Sketches

Did a couple sessions last week, these are what had some promise.  I'm always telling my students that 1 out of 5 is a good number.

It took a while to get this finished.  It is covered in collage but dont' think it shows on the internet.  It is on paper and the qu;ick sketch is below.  It definetly has an oriental influence.

As you can see I have been enjoying modeling sessions this week.  This evening I found out that I will  be doing a 1 day workshop at the Dutch Art Gallery in Dallas on June 9.  I look forward to the trip and hope that anyone interested in it will come.  My membership  in the CFAI group is  where this all started.

Did a portrait of one of my students, bellieve I caught her, added some decorative value with paint

2nd Place/The Watercolor Society

Was happy to see that this piece got 2nd place at this months show.  They want me to discuss my process....well let me see...it's a test.

20 minute poses

These are 20 minute poses from last weeks model session.  I am working on a portrait of a student of mine...will post when it is finished.
