good example
This is a good example of what I start with after a model session, and what I might end up with after reworking a line drawing with wash. I have also added oil pastel as well as collage material. While in Dallas I collected some great collage materials, and somehow didn't get all of them home. I am hoping friend Margaret found them and is bringing them in this weekend. It is like finding hidden treasure and then losing it.

Wednesday class
I taught my morning class at the Watercolor Society, stayed to do model session in the afternoon. These were my favorite studies, strictly watercolor for the time being. May add more to them to finish to a saleable state. I generally am not fond of doing nudes, as clothing gives such a design element to the piece. These prove my point.

June 15
I have been in Dallas for the last 3 days, fun, relaxing and exploring an interesting city. Would love to spend more time there. I have a class at the Watercolor Society tomorrow morning, will takethe top piece as a sample to show them how to use collage and mixed media. The bottom one is even more collage with gold gesso. I love that technique. I have so many things I would like to do, will get busy on Thursday. I have alot of drawings that will make a nice painting when I get to it.

"Chainsaw"
Meet "Chainsaw", a roller derby queen. It's not everyday one gets to paint a true original. She ahs been a participant in the "Roller Derby" for years. She has tatoos everywhere, but I have not captured them. Does anyone know how to paint tatoos? I can't seem to master it. Willl finish later, as this is just what I did at the 6 Figures meetup.
